I had to let go of someone I love. And I just couldn’t.
The sky is blue. Water is wet. I am a homosexual with a blog that loves boys and popular culture.

The argument for raising minimum wage is for people to be able to keep up with rising costs and be able to provide for themselves. Of course raising minimum wage will increase other forms of payment like salaries and wages but the point is that if inflation is going to make the cost of things rise, people’s paychecks need to be able to keep up.
It’s not even that bad because if costs do rise, its not like it’ll be overkill. For example, most department stores could pay their employees significantly better if they raised the prices of their items by one dollar.
In some instances, prices don’t even need to rise. I used to work at Walt Disney World and where wold collectible pins that cost like $9 even though it took like a dollar at most to make them. They don’t need to raise the price, they just need to shift more money to go to the paychecks of their employees.
The wage gap in the salaries of CEOs and regular employees is disgustingly HUGE. Cuts in pay (cuts that will not even be a scratch to the life of a CEO) could significantly help less-privileged employees. A university president recently cut a portion of his salary to be able to raise of the minimum wage of student employees by three dollars.
Overall, there are so many options that can be taken to better the lives of minimum wage employees and you are an awful piece of useless shit if you don’t think minimum wage employees deserve a wage where they can sustain themselves and in most cases their families.
